The Loudoun Jazz Ensemble has been performing big band music throughout the Northern Virginia area since 1997. The Loudoun Jazz Ensemble (LJE) is a performing organization of the Loudoun Community Band, Inc., a non-profit organization that brings the service of music to Loudoun County.  LJE provides the opportunity for area musicians who have a strong interest in big band jazz to rehearse on a regular basis and perform for the people of Loudoun County and the DC metro area.

The National Building Museum
The National Portrait Gallery
The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum (Udvar Hazy)
The National Cathedral
The Congressional Country Club

We also perform at local community events, private parties, fund raisers and more. We are committed to performing a wide variety of big band music from the 40's through today in the style and excellence expected of such an organization.
